Inline Magic Shell ("the app") is built and hosted on the VibeMCP platform and connects to AI assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT) via the Model Context Protocol.
The app stores the data you provide through its tools (for example, items you ask it to save). That data lives in an isolated database schema dedicated to this app — no other app on the platform can access it.
To help the app's developer improve it, the platform records usage telemetry: tool-call counts and latency, session context reported by your AI assistant (platform, locale, time zone, viewport, and your browser’s user-agent string), interaction positions inside the app's interface, and error reports. The app never receives your conversation with the assistant — the assistant reads what you asked and calls the app itself — so your chat messages are not part of this telemetry. In session recordings, text and form inputs are masked in your browser before anything is sent. Interface recordings are deleted after 90 days. Counts, timings, click positions and session details are deleted after 90 days.
No payment-card data, government identifiers, passwords, or API keys. No precise location. The app cannot read your chat history.
This app's developer has not turned on request-and-answer recording. For each use of the app the platform stores how often it was called, how long it took and whether it failed — not the information your assistant sent to it, and not what it sent back.
The developer can turn this on. If they do, this page changes to describe exactly what is then stored and for how long.
Everything is stored on servers in Germany. Your data is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising. Running the service does involve a few providers: the German hosting provider; Cloudflare, which carries and secures the traffic; WorkOS, if this app offers sign-in; and the assistant you are using — ChatGPT or Claude — which passes your request to the app and keeps the result in your conversation. This app declares no external services, and the platform blocks any it has not declared, so nothing you enter is sent to a third-party service by the app itself. Your saved data and aggregate usage analytics are visible to the app’s developer.
The platform’s own handling of this data — who operates it, where it runs, and how to reach them — is described in full in the VibeMCP platform privacy notice. This page stays complete on its own; that one adds the detail behind it.
This app has no sign-in. It does not ask for an account, and the platform issues it no identity for you.
You can ask for a copy of the data this app holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] quoting the app "inline-magic-shell"; requests that concern the developer’s own data are passed to them. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to the usage recording described above, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
